Town guides
Each city runs its own building department, so permits, design review and utility rules change at the city line. Our town guides show projects we built in each city and walk through its local rules:
- Santa Clara: home additions and bathroom remodels we built there, the city’s permit portal and review times, design review hearings and Silicon Valley Power.
- Sunnyvale: a master bathroom remodel, E-OneStop permits, review levels for additions, Eichler guidelines and garage conversion rules.
- Palo Alto: a curbless shower remodel, instant kitchen and bath permits, the two-story design standards, Eichler tracts and City of Palo Alto Utilities.
