Privacy Policy
Version 2.0, effective date: October 20, 2026. This privacy policy explains what information QA Builders (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit qabuilders.com, send us a request or call us, why we use it, who receives it and how you can change your choices.
IN SHORT
- We collect what you send us through our contact form, by phone or by email, technical data about your visit, how you use the website and how you reached it (for example a search, a website or an ad link).
- We use it to answer your request and do the remodeling and construction work you ask for, to measure and improve the website and our ads, and to keep the website secure.
- Google Analytics starts when you first scroll, click, type or tap on the website. You can switch it off at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
- Giving us your details is voluntary, but without them we cannot reply to your request.
- We do not sell your personal information.
WHO WE ARE
QA Builders, 1917 Creek Dr, San Jose, CA, 95125, runs this website. For privacy questions and requests, email contact@qabuilders.com. The website, its forms and the record of cookie choices are run for us by our marketing service provider, NZ Marketing, with the service providers named in “Who receives your information”.
WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, the service you need, your full address, your message and when you want the project to start, plus the page you sent the form from, the time you sent it and the notices shown next to the button.
- Calls and emails: your phone number or email address, the time of the call or email and what you tell us about your project.
- Technical data: your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and language, and your approximate location derived from the IP address.
- Use of the website: the pages you view, how long you stay, how far you scroll, clicks on links to other sites and on our phone number and email links, file downloads, and the videos you play.
- How you reached us: the page you first landed on, the website or search that sent you (for example Google or Yelp), campaign tags in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) and ad click ids in the link (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, msclkid). Your browser keeps this itself and sends it to us only with a form you choose to send; if you visited us before in the last 90 days, it also carries how you reached us that first time.
- Cookies and similar ids: the cookies and browser storage listed under “Do we use cookies?”, including an anonymous visitor id for your cookie choice.
This policy does not apply to workforce-related personal information collected from employees, job applicants, contractors, or similar individuals.
WHAT DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION FOR?
- Form, call and email details: to answer your request, give you an estimate, schedule and do the work, and contact you about your project and our services as described in “Calls and text messages”.
- The notices shown on the form: to keep a record of what you agreed to.
- Technical data and use of the website: to run and secure the website, to block spam (Google reCAPTCHA on the form), and to see which pages help visitors so we can improve them.
- How you reached us and ad click ids: to know which search, website, campaign or ad brought each request, and to measure our ads.
- Hashed contact details: the Google tag on this website detects an email address, phone number or postal address entered in our form and sends it to Google in hashed form (scrambled with SHA-256 before it is sent, so Google can match it but not read it), to measure more accurately.
- Cookie choice and visitor id: to remember your choice and keep a record of it.
- Legal requests: to respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations.
WHO RECEIVES YOUR INFORMATION?
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. It goes only to these recipients, each for the purpose named:
- Analytics provider (Google, Google Analytics): the use of the website, technical data, campaign tags, ad click ids and the hashed form details above, to measure the use of the website.
- Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA): technical data and how you use the form, to tell people from spam bots.
- Videos, maps, reviews and web fonts (YouTube; Google Maps; Trustindex, with reviewer pictures from Google; Google Fonts; the jsDelivr content network): technical data, when a page plays a video, shows a map, our Google reviews or the website’s fonts and scripts.
- Website host and email delivery: technical data, to serve the website, and your form request, to send it to us by email.
- Lead delivery (Cloudflare; Google Gemini; Anthropic; WhatsApp): what you send through the form, the page you sent it from and how you reached us. Cloudflare stores a copy for our marketing service provider; an AI model (Google Gemini) checks it for spam first; AI models (Anthropic) write and check the short notice that tells our team about your request on WhatsApp. The record of your cookie choice is kept on Cloudflare too.
- Our marketing service provider (NZ Marketing): runs the website, the forms and the tools above for us, and may see your request when it maintains them.
- QA Builders’ team: everything you send us, to answer you and do the work.
- Authorities: only when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety.
GIVING US INFORMATION IS VOLUNTARY
You do not have to give us any personal information. Without your name and a phone number or email address we cannot reply to your request or give you an estimate. You can use the website with analytics and advertising tools switched off.
DO WE USE COOKIES?
Yes. When you arrive, a short cookie notice at the bottom of the screen tells you about our measurement tools, with an OK button, a Settings button and a link to this policy. Google Analytics starts on your first scroll, click, key press, tap or focus on a form field. We run no advertising pixels or ad tags on this website.

How to change your choice: use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Switch Analytics off and save: Google Analytics stops at once, does not load again in this browser and its cookies are deleted. You can switch it back on the same way. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The website keeps working without them.
DO NOT TRACK AND GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL
Our website does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals, because there is no common standard for what it should do. To stop Google Analytics in your browser, use Cookie settings. Other companies, namely Google through Google Analytics, YouTube and the embedded maps, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our website.
CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES
When you send a request through a form on our website, you agree that QA Builders may call and text you at the number you entered about your project and our services, as the notice above the form’s send button explains. Agreeing is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts, or tell us by phone or email. We keep a record of that agreement (the notice shown, the page and the time) with your request. Our website and its service providers do not record your calls.
YOUR RIGHTS
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, and you may withdraw any consent you gave, for example to our calls and texts or to Google Analytics in Cookie settings: withdrawing stops future use, it does not undo use before it. To ask, email contact@qabuilders.com or call 669-213-8077. Describe your request with enough detail for us to understand it and give us enough information to confirm it is you; we cannot act on a request we cannot verify. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
- Requests, estimates, calls and emails: for as long as we handle your request and any work that follows it, and longer only when the law requires us to keep records of our work; you can ask us to delete them sooner.
- The record of your cookie choice: 12 months from your choice.
- Google Analytics data: as set in our Google Analytics account, with the cookie durations listed above.
HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. These security measures include:
- PCI Scanning to actively protect our servers from hackers and other vulnerabilities.
- We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our database, to be accessed only by those authorized with special access rights to our systems, who are required to keep the information confidential.
- After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Our service providers may process your information in the United States and in other countries where they operate.
CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
When we make a material change, we post the new version on this page with a new version number and effective date at the top, and when the change affects the cookies or tools the cookie notice covers, the notice shows again on your next visit.
