The California Contractors State License Board lists him, under his full name Sagy Shlomo Taraboulsi, as the qualifying individual on the company's license and as an owner of 10 percent or more of the company. Every project receives a dedicated project manager so you know who to turn to every step of the way. These are the people named in clients’ Google and Yelp reviews, with the roles those reviews describe: - **Sal, owner.** Meets homeowners at the house, listens to what they want and prepares the quote. - **Josh, project manager.** The day-to-day contact: daily updates, checklists of items the homeowner needs to buy, and the specialists for each phase. - **Poli, project manager.** Walks clients through a budget worksheet for materials and labor, and goes with them to specialty suppliers to choose tile, cabinets and counters. - **Walter, construction lead.** Runs the crew on site and works through the final list of small fixes with the project manager. - **Mike, general contractor.** Named in a review of a full interior remodel as the one who put doing things the right way first and made sure the clients understood what was realistic. Open the [CSLB license detail for #1073096](https://www.cslb.ca.gov/OnlineServices/CheckLicenseII/LicenseDetail.aspx?LicNum=1073096), or go to cslb.ca.gov and choose "Check a License". 2. Search by the number, 1073096. A name search for "QA Builders" finds nothing, because the board files the company as "Q A BUILDERS INC" with spaces between the letters. 3. Check that the status line reads current and active, and that the bond and workers' compensation sections show a policy on file. Do the same with any contractor you are comparing.
